Calvin Mooney is a Dallas-based real estate professional with a background that bridges brokerage, development, and construction field operations. His experience spans the full project lifecycle—from site selection and acquisition to design coordination, construction management, and delivery.
Calvin currently works with one of the nation’s leading multifamily developers, where he supports construction operations across major projects in the Dallas–Fort Worth region. His work involves coordinating field operations, managing schedules, and ensuring that quality and safety standards are upheld throughout each phase of construction.
Calvin built his foundation in commercial real estate as an Associate Broker with Colliers International’s DFW Occupier Services Group. There, he represented national clients in leasing, acquisitions, and portfolio management, completing transactions across the industrial and office sectors. He also served as a member of Colliers’ National Education Advisory Group, providing specialized real estate strategies for schools, universities, and private operators.
Through his combined brokerage and construction experience, Calvin developed a strong understanding of how sites evolve from concept to completion. This perspective led him to form The Mooney Acquisitions & Development Group (The MAAD Group), a Dallas-based development company focused on land and mixed-use projects.
Calvin holds a Real Estate Broker’s license in Texas and Missouri and is pursuing his Masters in Construction Management at Texas A&M University.
